Ancient traditional Cambodian rice snake made of wood, horn and metal, circa 1950-1960. This one is presented on a custom-made steel base. Circa 35 cms long.

Coconut grater

A traditional and everyday object in Burma, this large coconut grater, featuring a cat, is both highly decorative and naive in its execution. The circular grater is made of hammered iron. Beautiful drawings on the animal’s body and representation of its virility. First half of the 20th century. 52 cms x 20 cms.

Chowfah

Chowfah, monastery roof decoration which was placed at the roof peak, representing 3 characters, probably the hermit Htu Mai Dar who supports his parents. It is worn out by time and bad weather because it was placed outside. It is presented on a custom-made steel base. Burma, Late 19th century, 115 cms X 17 cms.
